Would you rather be a great athlete, artist, or musician?

Probably a tie between artist and athlete. If you’re a great athlete, you are easily and instantly recognized, acknowledged, and rewarded for your talents. Athletic talent isn’t very subjective; you’re either good or you’re not. Meanwhile, it’s much much harder to get noticed as a talented artist or musician as those are very subjective topics. Also, these industries are very influenced by the mainstream culture and makes it hard to be very successful if you have a unique voice.

The sports industry searches the world over for great athletic talent, but great artistic and musical talent has to promote themselves and shove themselves down peoples’ throats to get even a small glance.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Review (SPOILERIFIC)

You know how I say spoilerific in the title? That doesn’t begin to describe this. I basically tell you everything in the film because there’s so much I want to comment on because the film was over 2 hours long! And unless you know the context, you obviously won’t understand my comments. So if you’re planning on watching this film for the plot (which you shouldn’t), then you shouldn’t read past the paragraph after this. But you can also read this review and just not watch the film, which will save you over 2 hours of your life and $12! Yay! Read more

O HAI!

Well, I’ve finally done it. As you can see, (in the spare time that I should have spent on starting my Drawing project that I’m way behind on, or the TechPost essay thingy that’s due this week) I’ve created a new blog. Obviously, it’s a little empty right now, but that’ll hopefully change in the near future. Odds are, though, that that’s probably not going to happen…

So, you’re probably asking, “What’s the point of this?” and I’ll tell you, even though you’re probably not asking that at all because you just plain don’t care; you’ve probably already left…if so, screw you. Anyhow,  the point of this shiny, new blog of mine, is mostly to have a place for me to rant, rave, and review. Facebook notes and twitter updates just weren’t cutting it for me.
